Peshawar Zalmi fast bowler Ali Raza made history in the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) by becoming the youngest Pakistani to take a T20 hat-trick.

The 18-year-old achieved the milestone during a thrilling match against Karachi Kings at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, delivering a dramatic final over that turned the game on its head.


Dramatic Final Over Seals Record

Ali Raza was handed the responsibility of bowling the final over after Karachi Kings chose to bat first.

The over began under pressure, with runs coming early, including a boundary and a six. However, the momentum shifted when a run-out created an opening for Zalmi.

On the very next delivery, Khushdil Shah was dismissed hit wicket, giving Ali his first breakthrough of the over. He then removed Shahid Aziz with a precise delivery.

On the final ball, Ali completed his hat-trick by bowling Hasan Ali, capping off a remarkable performance.

He finished with impressive figures of 4 wickets for 41 runs in his four overs.


Karachi Kings Post Competitive Total

Earlier, Karachi Kings had built a strong innings after winning the toss.

Jason Roy led the batting effort with an impressive 85 off 51 balls, while Azam Khan added a quick 35 from 19 deliveries.

Despite having a solid platform, Karachi Kings lost momentum in the final over, losing multiple wickets and finishing on 182/9 in their 20 overs.
