Gold prices in Pakistan saw a sharp rebound on Monday, tracking an upward trend in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 4,600, reaching Rs. 477,762.
The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs. 3,943 to settle at Rs. 409,603.
This follows a period of volatility in the local market, where gold had recently seen a slight decline before recovering again due to global price movements.
In international trading, gold prices climbed by $46 per ounce, reaching $4,554 per ounce.
Silver also continued its upward momentum, gaining Rs. 236 per tola to settle at Rs. 8,270.
Analysts say gold prices remain sensitive to global economic uncertainty, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical developments, which continue to influence investor demand in both local and international markets.
