Brewers Edge Athletics 15-14 in High-Scoring 12-Inning Thriller

The Milwaukee Brewers secured a dramatic 15-14 victory over the Athletics in a thrilling 12-inning contest at Las Vegas Ballpark on Monday night.

The game turned into an offensive showcase, with both teams combining for 34 hits and 11 home runs in one of the highest-scoring games of the Major League Baseball season.

Andrew Vaughn played a key role in Milwaukee’s victory, recording four hits and four RBIs. His two-run double in the ninth inning helped the Brewers erase a late deficit and keep the game alive.

The decisive moment came in the top of the 12th inning when Christian Yelich scored the go-ahead run following a defensive error on a ground ball hit by Brice Turang. The run proved to be the difference as Milwaukee held on for the win.

Reliever Abner Uribe earned the victory after delivering a strong performance out of the bullpen, while Chad Patrick recorded the final outs to secure the save.

Despite the loss, the Athletics produced an impressive offensive display of their own. Tyler Soderstrom and Nick Kurtz each hit two home runs, contributing to a seven-homer night for the home team.

One of the game’s highlights came from Shea Langeliers, who launched a towering home run on the very first pitch he faced. The blast traveled 483 feet, marking the longest home run of his career and one of the longest recorded in Major League Baseball this season.

The contest featured numerous lead changes, powerful hitting performances, and extended extra innings, providing fans with one of the most entertaining games of the year.

The Athletics are currently playing a series of games in Las Vegas as part of preparations for their planned move to a new stadium in the city later this decade.

With both teams delivering standout offensive performances, the matchup will be remembered as one of the most exciting and highest-scoring games of the 2026 MLB season so far.
