Light rain expected in Karachi amid hot and humid conditions
Karachi is expected to experience partly cloudy weather with chances of light drizzle during the night and early morning hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The Met Office said the city will likely remain hot and humid throughout the day, with occasional sunshine and cloud cover. Moist winds from the southwest are currently influencing weather conditions in the region.
Officials reported that the minimum temperature recorded was 29.5°C, while the current temperature is around 31°C. Humidity levels remain high at about 72%, making the weather feel more uncomfortable for residents.
Winds are blowing from the southwest at approximately 15 km/h, and daytime temperatures are expected to reach between 34°C and 36°C.
Authorities have advised citizens to stay hydrated and take precautions during peak heat hours, especially due to high humidity levels.
Although light drizzle may provide brief relief, warm and humid conditions are likely to continue in the coming days.
