Honor Launches Earbuds 5e With Active Noise Cancellation and Long Battery Life

Honor has introduced the Earbuds 5e in China alongside its latest smartphone lineup, offering a combination of advanced audio features, active noise cancellation and extended battery performance.

The new wireless earbuds are designed for everyday listening and communication, with support for high-resolution audio, AI-powered features and multi-device connectivity.

Design and Audio Features

The Honor Earbuds 5e feature a lightweight semi-in-ear design and are available in Moonlight White and Midnight Black color options. Each earbud weighs approximately 4 grams and carries an IP54 rating for resistance to dust and water splashes.

For audio performance, the earbuds are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and support the LHDC 5.0 audio codec. They also feature Hi-Res Audio certification, enabling high-quality sound reproduction for compatible devices.

Active Noise Cancellation

One of the key features of the Earbuds 5e is adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), which automatically adjusts based on surrounding environmental conditions.

According to Honor, the system is capable of significantly reducing background noise, helping users enjoy a more focused listening experience in various settings.

The earbuds also include multiple microphones and AI-assisted noise reduction technology designed to improve call clarity and minimize environmental distractions.

Battery Performance

Honor claims the Earbuds 5e can deliver up to nine hours of music playback on a single charge when noise cancellation is disabled.

The included charging case extends total battery life to as much as 45 hours under certain usage conditions. Fast charging support allows users to gain several hours of listening time from a short charging session.

Smart Features

The earbuds include several intelligent features such as touch controls, automatic wear detection and dual-device connectivity, allowing users to switch between devices more conveniently.

Honor has also integrated AI-powered translation and transcription tools for supported devices, expanding the earbuds’ functionality beyond audio playback.

Availability and Pricing

The Honor Earbuds 5e are currently available for pre-order in China, with official sales scheduled to begin on June 26.

The company has announced an introductory promotional price for early buyers, with the retail price expected to increase after the launch period ends.

With a focus on sound quality, battery endurance and smart features, the Earbuds 5e aim to provide a competitive option in the wireless audio market.
