Bellingham and Mbappe Score as Real Madrid Beat Malaga 4-0

Real Madrid maintained their winning start to the La Liga season with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Malaga at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe were among the scorers as Real produced a dominant first-half performance, scoring three goals in a little over 10 minutes.
Real Madrid Take Control Early
Bellingham opened the scoring in the 19th minute after collecting a loose ball near the edge of the penalty area. The England midfielder drove through the middle before sending a low shot past Malaga goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero.
Real doubled their advantage seven minutes later. Mbappe’s attempt was pushed away by Herrero, but Bellingham headed the rebound towards goal. During the attempt to clear the ball, Herrero and a teammate collided, and the ball crossed the line.
Mbappe added Real’s third goal in the 30th minute. The French forward connected with a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold and finished with a well-placed volley from inside the penalty area.
The hosts went into the interval with a commanding three-goal advantage.
Guler Completes the Scoring
Real Madrid continued to create opportunities after the break, with Bellingham coming close to scoring again in the 55th minute when his shot struck the post.
Arda Guler eventually added the fourth goal after coming on as a substitute. The young midfielder combined with Vinicius Junior before finishing the move from close range.
Real Madrid also recorded their first clean sheet of the season.
Bellingham Enjoying Mourinho’s System
Bellingham received a warm reception from the home supporters when he was substituted in the second half.
Speaking after the match, he said he was enjoying the freedom provided by manager Jose Mourinho to move higher or deeper depending on the team’s needs.
Mourinho was also pleased with the team’s overall performance, particularly its defensive discipline after the break.
The Portuguese coach said managing the game at a slower pace in the second half was important, while adding that Real still looked capable of scoring whenever they increased the intensity.
Other La Liga Results
Elsewhere, Deportivo La Coruna recorded their first league victory of the season by defeating Valencia 3-1.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his third goal of the campaign, while Deportivo also benefited from own goals by Cesar Tarrega and Mouctar Diakhaby.
Athletic Bilbao also secured their first win, beating Celta Vigo 2-0. Alex Berenguer and Robert Navarro scored for the Basque club.
