Officials Say Circulating School Schedule Is Fake

The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has dismissed a school timing notification circulating on social media, clarifying that the document does not represent an official decision of the provincial government.

Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah said the notification being shared online is fake and is creating confusion among students, parents, teachers, and schools.

The minister explained that the department will issue the official school timing schedule once it has been finalized.

One-Hour Reduction in School Hours Announced

The clarification comes a day after the education minister announced a reduction of one hour in school timings across Sindh because of the ongoing hot weather conditions.

Speaking at an event in Karachi on Tuesday, Shah said the measure was being considered to help protect students from the effects of extreme temperatures.

The adjustment in school hours is intended to reduce students’ exposure to high temperatures during the hottest part of the day.

Public Advised to Wait for Official Notification

The Education Department has advised parents, teachers, and the general public not to rely on unofficial documents circulating through social media platforms.

Authorities have urged everyone to wait for the formal school timing notification from the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department before making decisions based on the revised schedule.

The official notification is expected to provide details of the applicable school timings across the province.
