Petrol Price Rises for Eighth Consecutive Day in Pakistan
The federal government has announced another increase in petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices, marking the eighth consecutive day of fuel price revisions in Pakistan.
According to the latest rates issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has increased by Rs. 6.88 per litre, taking it to Rs. 391.22 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also gone up by Rs. 5.62 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 421.45 per litre.
Latest Petrol and Diesel Prices
The latest increase follows Tuesday’s revision, when petrol became more expensive by Rs. 4.10 per litre, while the price of diesel increased by Rs. 6.41 per litre.
The new rates are part of a series of daily fuel price adjustments that have significantly increased the cost of petroleum products in recent weeks.
Fuel Price Increase Since Daily Revisions Began
Since the introduction of daily fuel price updates, petrol has increased by approximately Rs. 79.92 per litre, while diesel has risen by Rs. 91.94 per litre.
