PIMA Raises Concerns Over Suspension and Dismissal of 15 Punjab Doctors
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has voiced concern over the suspension of medical registrations of 15 doctors in Punjab and their subsequent removal from their positions.
The doctors’ representative body said the decisions could create uncertainty among medical professionals and potentially contribute to the growing number of doctors seeking career opportunities abroad.
PIMA Calls for Review of Decisions
PIMA said a doctor’s professional career should not be placed at risk solely because of an administrative decision. The association urged the relevant authorities to review the measures taken against the doctors.

He called for legitimate concerns and differences of opinion among medical professionals to be heard and resolved through constructive discussions.
PIMA reiterated its position that the decisions concerning the 15 doctors should be reviewed, while emphasizing the need to protect both patient interests and the stability of the healthcare system.
