Harry Kane reached another major milestone in his Bayern Munich career on Friday as the German champions defeated Union Berlin 7-0 at the Allianz Arena.

The England captain scored twice to register his 100th and 101st Bundesliga goals, reaching the century mark in only 98 league appearances.

Kane’s achievement made him the fastest player to score 100 Bundesliga goals, beating the previous record held by Cologne striker Dieter Müller, who reached the milestone in 129 matches in 1977.

Kane Continues Remarkable Bayern Record

Kane has continued to produce impressive numbers since joining Bayern Munich.

His latest double took his total to 156 goals in 156 appearances for the club across domestic and international competitions.

He has also previously become the fastest Bayern player to reach 75, 100 and 150 goals in all competitions.

“I’m very proud to reach 101 Bundesliga goals,” Kane said after the match.

The striker also praised his attacking teammates, highlighting the opportunities created by players such as Michael Olise, Luis Diaz and Jamal Musiala.

Kane Leaves Door Open on Bayern Future

Kane’s current Bayern contract runs until the end of the season, but the striker indicated that discussions about his future are continuing.

“I’m extremely happy here,” Kane said when asked about a possible extension.

He also responded positively to the possibility of playing for Bayern when the Champions League final returns to Munich in 2028.

“Munich in 2028? Maybe. It’ll be a special one,” he said.

Olise Stars With Hat-Trick

Although Kane’s milestone attracted plenty of attention, Michael Olise was the leading scorer on the night.

The France international scored a hat-trick as Bayern produced their biggest Bundesliga victory since beating VfL Wolfsburg 8-1 in January.

Bayern opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Jamal Musiala fired a powerful shot into the net after Alphonso Davies cut the ball back to him on the edge of the penalty area.

Kane then doubled the advantage from the penalty spot in the 39th minute after Olise was brought down inside the box.

Bayern Add Four More Goals

Olise made it 3-0 shortly before half-time with an excellent first-time finish from outside the penalty area.

Union Berlin showed some attacking threat early in the second half, but Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer produced two quick saves to prevent the visitors from reducing the deficit.

Kane scored his second goal in the 54th minute after Olise delivered a precise cross from the right, allowing the England striker to guide his header into the net.

Bayern then added three more goals in a short period.

Ismael Saibari scored his first goal for the club seven minutes after coming on as a substitute, making it 5-0.

Olise scored again three minutes later after going around goalkeeper Frederik Rønnow before finishing from a tight angle.

The French winger completed his hat-trick shortly afterwards with a curling effort from outside the box.

Bayern Enter International Break on Top

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl praised the team’s performance and said the club wanted to enter the international break with a strong result.

The 7-0 victory currently places Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table.

Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund, the other teams with perfect records at this stage of the season, have an opportunity to move back to the summit when they face Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart on Saturday.
