Kit Harington Hints at Possible Jon Snow Return

Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington has offered a fresh update on the possibility of returning as Jon Snow, suggesting that he is now more open to revisiting the character.

Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Harington explained that spending several years working on different projects has given him more distance from the role.

The actor said he wanted to explore other work before considering a return to the world of Game of Thrones. After taking on a range of roles, he now feels less defined by Jon Snow and more comfortable with the character.

Harington also suggested that a return could potentially happen under the right circumstances, saying there is “a world in which something could work.”

The comments mark a change from his position in 2024, when Harington said the proposed Jon Snow spin-off had been put aside because the creative team had been unable to develop a story they were sufficiently excited about.

At the time, he explained that the project was not moving forward because the team could not agree on the right story and had decided to leave it aside.

There is currently no confirmed announcement that the Jon Snow spin-off is returning to production.

Meanwhile, Harington continues to work on other projects, including Industry, The Dreadful and A Tale of Two Cities. He is also expected to appear in the second season of HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series.
