Pakistan Win Tent Pegging World Cup Qualifier in Oman

Pakistan secured first place in the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF) World Cup qualifier held in Oman, earning qualification for the fifth International Tent Pegging World Cup in Jordan.

The Pakistani team finished at the top of the overall standings with 455 points after a strong performance throughout the qualifying competition.

Pakistan also collected an impressive 13 medals, including six gold, five silver and two bronze, as the riders displayed their skills across the various events.

The result reflects the efforts of Pakistan’s riders, coaches and support staff, as well as the continued involvement of the Equestrian Federation of Pakistan in the development of the sport.

Pakistan Set Sights on World Cup

With their first-place finish in Oman, Pakistan have secured a place at the fifth International Tent Pegging World Cup, which will be staged in Jordan.

The qualification gives Pakistan another opportunity to compete against leading international riders at the global level.

Tent pegging is a traditional equestrian discipline that combines horse riding with precision and lance skills. Pakistan’s success in the Oman qualifier could also help attract greater attention to the sport among riders and sports enthusiasts across the country.
