The 2027 WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup, presented by RAXUS, will be held from July 9 to 18 in Tainan, Chinese Taipei, bringing together 12 national teams to compete for the world title.
The ninth edition of the tournament will take place at the Asia Pacific International Baseball Training Centre (ASPAC), with the competition scheduled to run over 10 days. The event is organised by the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association (CTBA).
Tainan has hosted the tournament since 2015, while ASPAC has served as its venue since 2019. The CTBA has organised every edition of the competition, which began in Taipei City in 2011.
Five teams have already secured qualification for the 2027 event. Japan, Chinese Taipei and Korea earned their places through the U-12 Asian Baseball Championship held in August. Japan is currently ranked No. 1 in the world, followed by Chinese Taipei at No. 2 and Korea at No. 4.
Germany and Czechia qualified through the U-12 European Championship in July. Germany won the European title, with both teams securing places in the world tournament.
Further qualification opportunities will be available in November 2026, when five additional berths are scheduled to be decided through regional competitions.
The Dominican Republic will host the U-12 Pan American Championship from November 20 to 27 at the IPL Academy in San Antonio de Guerra. Four places in the 2027 World Cup will be available through the event.
Another qualification spot will be awarded at the WBSC Oceania U-12 Men’s Baseball Qualification Event, scheduled to take place in Guam from November 27 to 30.
The remaining places will be filled by one team from Africa and a wild-card selection, completing the 12-team lineup for the tournament in Tainan.
With the dates confirmed and qualification competitions approaching, preparations are continuing for the next edition of the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup, which will bring together young baseball players from across the world in July 2027.
