13 Terrorists Killed During Ongoing Security Operation in Balochistan, Sources Say

At least 13 terrorists have been killed during an ongoing intelligence-based operation in Balochistan, according to security sources.

The operation, named Operation Al-Azm, is being carried out in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, where security forces are targeting suspected militant hideouts.

Hideouts Destroyed, Weapons Recovered

Security sources said several hideouts linked to the banned militant group Fitna al-Hindustan were destroyed during the operation.

Authorities also reported recovering weapons, ammunition, and materials allegedly used for preparing improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Several militants were also reportedly injured during the security operation.

Previous Operations in Mastung and Surab

Earlier, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that security forces had killed 10 militants and arrested two female suicide bombers during separate intelligence-based operations in Mastung and Surab districts of Balochistan.

According to ISPR, the operations were part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militant networks and prevent terrorist activities in the province.

Security Forces Continue Operations

Security agencies have increased intelligence-based operations across parts of Balochistan following a rise in militant activities in recent years.

Officials say the objective of these operations is to dismantle terrorist networks, destroy their infrastructure, and recover illegal weapons and explosive materials.

Government Reaffirms Commitment Against Terrorism

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has previously emphasized that Pakistan will continue efforts to combat terrorism and protect civilians and security personnel.

The government has repeatedly stated that security operations will continue against militant groups involved in attacks across the country.

Situation Remains Under Watch

Authorities said security forces are continuing clearance and intelligence operations in affected areas, while further details will be shared after the completion of ongoing activities.

The latest operation highlights the continued focus of security agencies on addressing militant threats in Balochistan and maintaining stability in the region.
