18 Teams to Compete in U-18 Women’s Softball Pan American Championship

A total of 18 national teams will compete in the VI U-18 Women’s Softball Pan American Championship, scheduled to take place in San Salvador, El Salvador, from November 21 to 28, 2026.
The continental tournament will be organised under the auspices of WBSC Americas Softball and will also serve as a qualification event for the next WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup.
18 Nations Confirmed for the Tournament
The championship will feature teams from across the Americas, with the participating nations including:
- Argentina
- Bahamas
- Brazil
- Canada
- Colombia
- Cuba
- El Salvador
- Guatemala
- Honduras
- Mexico
- Nicaragua
- Panama
- Peru
- Puerto Rico
- Dominican Republic
- United States
- US Virgin Islands
- Venezuela
The strong participation highlights the growing scale of women’s youth softball in the region, with teams competing for the Pan American title as well as valuable qualification opportunities for the upcoming World Cup.
Two Venues to Host the Games
Matches will be played at two venues in San Salvador.
The tournament will use the Estadio Ing. Pablo Arnoldo Guzmán in Colonia Guatemala and the Estadio Nacional de Béisbol Saturnino Bengoa.
The competition will officially begin on November 21, with the final scheduled for November 28. The opening ceremony will be held a day earlier on November 20.
With 18 teams involved, the championship is expected to provide an important platform for young softball players from across the Americas as they compete for continental honours and places at the next U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup.
