20-Year-Old Woman Dies After Allegedly Consuming Poison in Jaranwala

JARANWALA: A 20-year-old woman died while undergoing treatment at a hospital after allegedly consuming poison following a domestic dispute in Jaranwala.

According to the available details, the woman was taken to a hospital after the incident but could not survive despite receiving medical treatment.

Police completed the required legal procedures before handing over the woman’s body to her family.

In a separate incident, women police officials helped reunite a mother with her 15-day-old infant after the baby was allegedly taken away following a family dispute.

The woman, identified as Muskan Bibi, had alleged that her in-laws took her newborn son and subsequently forced her to leave the house.

Following her complaint, women police intervened and recovered the infant before reuniting him with his mother.
