7 Militants Killed in Security Operation in Balochistan’s Sherani: ISPR

Security forces have successfully neutralised seven militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sherani district of Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.
The operation, conducted on October 1, targeted individuals reportedly linked to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). During the exchange of fire, all seven militants were eliminated.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the site. The ISPR noted that the individuals were involved in several militant activities in the region.
A follow-up sanitisation operation is currently underway to clear the area and ensure that no further threats remain.
“The security forces of Pakistan remain committed to eradicating terrorism from the country and ensuring peace and stability,” the statement added.
