Honor’s New GT2 Pro Tablet is a Gaming Beast with 165Hz Display and Massive Battery

Honor Launches Pad GT2 Pro Gaming Tablet with Upgraded Display and Performance

Honor has unveiled the Pad GT2 Pro, the successor to last year’s popular gaming tablet, featuring significant upgrades in display quality, processing power, and design. The new tablet will soon be available in China, with international release details yet to be announced.

Stunning Display and Powerful Performance

The Pad GT2 Pro boasts a 12.3-inch OLED display with an impressive 165Hz refresh rate, a step up from the previous model’s 144Hz. Gamers will enjoy smooth gameplay at up to 165 frames per second on a sharp “3K” resolution (approximately 3000 x 1920 pixels). Color options include Ice Crystal White and Phantom Gray.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, replacing last year’s 8s Gen 3 chip. Buyers can choose from RAM options of 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB, along with storage capacities ranging from 128GB to 512GB. This combination ensures the Pad GT2 Pro easily handles the most demanding games and multitasking needs.

Sleek Design and Enhanced Battery Life

Honor has boosted the tablet’s battery to 10,100 mAh, although charging speeds remain unconfirmed. The Pad GT2 Pro measures 5.8mm thick and weighs 580 grams, slightly heavier but still highly portable.

Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the eight-speaker IMAX Enhanced sound system, while a haptic feedback engine adds a tactile dimension to gaming and user interaction.

Pricing and Availability

The Pad GT2 Pro is priced starting at approximately $293 for the base model, with top-tier configurations costing up to $398, depending on memory and storage options. International pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.

With these upgrades, the Honor Pad GT2 Pro positions itself as a strong contender in the competitive gaming tablet market, delivering premium visuals, powerful performance, and immersive audio in a sleek design.
