A total of 17 players have been named to represent Canada, including seven returning athletes from the squad that secured a place in this year’s finals after finishing second in Group C last year.
Canada’s roster includes:
Raphaelle Bouchard, Cece Brown, Chantal Carriere, Cali Chapman, Deschanel Donovan, Addison Fech, Abigail Findlay, Skylar Flanagan, Emma Frisky, Isabella Gill, Tegan Harnett, Avery Hess, Avery Porter, Rylee Ruppel, Katherine Thiessen, and Avery Tucker.

Canada has a strong tradition in the competition, having participated in 13 of the previous 14 editions of the U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup. Their best performance came in 2019 in Irvine, USA, when the team earned a bronze medal — Canada’s only podium finish in the tournament’s history.
Currently ranked No. 4 in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Rankings, Canada will begin Group A play against No. 5 Chinese Taipei on 27 September. The team will then play a doubleheader on 28 September, facing No. 7 China and powerhouse No. 2 USA.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Round, setting the stage for an intense battle among the world’s best U-18 softball teams.
