Ravi City Authorities Crack Down on Illegal Housing Schemes
LAHORE: Authorities in Ravi City have launched a major operation against illegal housing schemes, sealing multiple property offices found violating regulations.
The crackdown was supervised by Deputy Directors Waqar Ahmed and Faizan Wazir, with support from police personnel and a media team. According to officials, the RUDA enforcement team stopped the sale and purchase of plots in the unauthorized Hussain Block, Wandal Dayal Shah.
As part of the operation, the offices of Al-Jannat Real Estate and Mian Real Estate, located on Old Mughal Road, were also sealed.
Officials stressed that any housing project operating without proper approval will be declared illegal, with their offices subject to sealing or demolition.
This move is part of the government’s broader effort to protect citizens from fraudulent housing schemes and ensure development takes place under legal and approved frameworks.
