Pakistan to Host Zimbabwe Women Ahead of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup

10 April 2026

Pakistan is set to welcome the Zimbabwe women’s cricket team for the first time as part of an important six-match white-ball series ahead of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The tour will include three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is), all scheduled to take place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

Zimbabwe’s women’s team is expected to arrive in Karachi on 29 April, with the ODI series beginning on 3 May. The T20I series will follow, starting from 12 May.

The ODI matches will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29, making them significant for both teams in terms of rankings and qualification points. Meanwhile, the T20I series will help Pakistan fine-tune their preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to begin on 12 June 2026.

Before the global tournament, Pakistan will also travel to Ireland to participate in a T20I tri-series featuring the host nation and the West Indies, providing further competitive exposure.

This upcoming series is being seen as an important step in strengthening Pakistan’s women’s cricket structure and gaining valuable international experience ahead of major ICC events.
