Govt Announces Increase in Petrol and Diesel Prices

The federal government has approved an increase in petrol and diesel prices for the upcoming seven days.

According to official notification, the Prime Minister has sanctioned a rise of Rs. 26.77 per litre in both diesel and petrol prices. Following this adjustment, the price of diesel has been set at Rs. 380.19 per litre, while petrol will now cost Rs. 393.35 per litre.

Officials confirmed that the revised prices have come into effect immediately from Saturday, April 25.

Last week, the government had reduced diesel prices by Rs. 32.12 per litre, bringing High-Speed Diesel (HSD) down to Rs. 353.43 per litre, while petrol prices remained unchanged at Rs. 366.58 per litre.
