Pakistan has successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-IV ground-launched cruise missile, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (Inter-Services Public Relations).
In a statement, ISPR said the Army Rocket Force Command carried out the test as part of efforts to enhance operational readiness and evaluate the performance of the missile system. The Fatah-IV is described as a precision-guided cruise missile equipped with advanced navigation and avionics systems designed to improve accuracy and target engagement at long ranges.
Officials said the test aimed to validate technical components and improve the overall effectiveness and reliability of the system under training conditions. Senior military officers, along with scientists and engineers involved in the development program, witnessed the launch.
According to the statement, top civilian and military leadership praised the successful test and appreciated the technical expertise and coordination involved in the development of the missile system.
This latest development comes shortly after previous successful training launches under the Fatah series, reflecting ongoing efforts to strengthen indigenous defense capabilities and enhance strategic readiness.
