The ISPR said the operation was carried out on the night of June 3-4 following reported intelligence about the presence of militants in the area.
During the operation, security forces engaged multiple locations, resulting in an exchange of fire in which six suspected militants were killed.
According to the statement, weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices, and a vehicle were recovered from the site. The individuals were allegedly involved in various activities targeting security forces and law enforcement personnel in the region.
The ISPR added that follow-up clearance and search operations are underway to ensure there are no remaining threats in the area.
Officials stated that counterterrorism efforts by security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue across the country as part of ongoing operations aimed at improving security and stability.
