Security Forces Kill Six Terrorists in Intelligence-Based Operation in Panjgur: ISPR

Security forces killed six terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.

The ISPR said the operation was carried out on the night of June 3-4 following reported intelligence about the presence of militants in the area.

During the operation, security forces engaged multiple locations, resulting in an exchange of fire in which six suspected militants were killed.

According to the statement, weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices, and a vehicle were recovered from the site. The individuals were allegedly involved in various activities targeting security forces and law enforcement personnel in the region.

The ISPR added that follow-up clearance and search operations are underway to ensure there are no remaining threats in the area.

Officials stated that counterterrorism efforts by security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue across the country as part of ongoing operations aimed at improving security and stability.

Security forces regularly conduct intelligence-based operations in different parts of Balochistan to address security challenges and maintain law and order in sensitive regions.
