Sports Correspondent: Imran Sohail

Volleyball World has announced ACN Group as the Title Partner for the men’s and women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2026 events scheduled to take place at Asue Arena Osaka in Japan.

The partnership covers both VNL tournaments in Osaka and reflects the continued growth of volleyball in one of the sport’s strongest international markets.

Partnership to Enhance Fan Experience

As part of the agreement, ACN Group’s branding will be featured throughout the competition, including venue signage, in-arena entertainment, and fan engagement activities.

The partnership will also extend to Volleyball World’s digital platforms, with ACN integrated into VBTV broadcasts, allowing the brand to reach volleyball fans around the world.

Volleyball Continues to Grow in Japan

Japan remains one of the world’s leading markets for international volleyball, attracting large television audiences and consistently strong attendance at major events.

According to Volleyball World, VNL tournaments hosted in Japan have recorded the highest spectator numbers among all host nations over the past three editions of the competition.

Attendance at VNL events in Japan increased significantly between 2023 and 2025, while the 2025 tournament in Chiba generated an estimated economic impact of more than US$52 million.

Demand for tickets has also remained high, with every VNL match involving Japan’s men’s or women’s national teams on home soil selling out since 2022. Organizers have also confirmed that all eight Japan matches scheduled for the Osaka 2026 event have already sold out.

Volleyball World Welcomes New Partnership

Oliver Clarke, Chief Partnerships Officer at Volleyball World, welcomed ACN Group as the title partner, describing Japan as one of the sport’s most important markets and highlighting the value of working with leading Japanese companies to support volleyball’s continued growth.

Marcelo Hargreaves da Costa, Chief Product Officer at Volleyball World, said the partnership aligns with the organization’s efforts to enhance the fan experience both inside the arena and through digital platforms.

He added that technology continues to play an important role in connecting fans with the sport and expressed confidence that the collaboration with ACN Group will contribute to delivering a memorable Volleyball Nations League experience in Osaka.

The partnership further highlights the increasing commercial appeal of international volleyball and the continued investment of major companies in the sport’s development in Japan.
