Emirates Named Best Airline Worldwide at 2026 Business Traveller Middle East Awards

Emirates has been recognized as Best Airline Worldwide at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East (BTME) Awards, adding another major achievement to its list of international accolades.

The airline also received awards for Best First Class and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East for its First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport.

The annual Business Traveller Middle East Awards recognize excellence in the travel industry, with winners selected through nominations and votes from the publication’s readers.

Emirates said the awards reflect its continued focus on enhancing the passenger experience both in the air and on the ground.

The airline is currently carrying out a large-scale fleet refurbishment program covering Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. At the same time, new Airbus A350 aircraft are being added to its fleet, introducing updated cabin interiors and onboard technologies.

According to the airline, refurbished aircraft and new A350s are now operating on routes serving more than 70 destinations across its global network.

Continued Investment in Services

Emirates continues to expand its products and services through new technology and network growth.

It has also introduced an enhanced travel insurance option for eligible travelers and plans to launch a daily service to Helsinki later this year, creating a year-round direct connection between the United Arab Emirates and Finland.
