Gold Prices Decline Again in Pakistan as International Rates Ease

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Tuesday, marking the third consecutive decline as international bullion prices also moved lower.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 2,500 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs. 434,963 per tola.

Latest Gold Rates

The association also reported a decline in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which dropped by Rs. 2,143 to Rs. 372,887.

The latest decrease follows Monday’s decline, when gold prices also recorded a notable drop in the domestic market.

International Gold Prices Also Fall

Global gold prices also weakened during the latest trading session.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold declined by $25 per ounce, settling at $4,125 per ounce, contributing to the downward trend in local prices.

Silver Prices Move Lower

Silver prices also registered a decline on Tuesday.

According to the association, the price of silver fell by Rs. 120 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs. 6,559 per tola.
