Punjab Opens Applications for 3-Month PWDP Internship Program for Psychology Students
The Punjab School Education Department has invited applications for Batch II of the Psychological Well-being and Development Program (PWDP) Internship, providing Psychology students and recent graduates with an opportunity to gain practical experience in government schools across the province.
The three-month internship is designed to promote student well-being and mental health awareness while allowing participants to develop professional skills in an educational setting.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to candidates from across Punjab who meet the following requirements:
- BS Psychology students enrolled in recognized universities
- MS Psychology students enrolled in recognized universities
- Recent graduates with a degree in Psychology
- Candidates interested in youth development and student well-being
- Applicants willing to conduct awareness sessions in government schools
Internship Overview
The PWDP Internship Program is a three-month volunteer-based initiative. Selected interns will be assigned to government schools, where they will support activities related to student mental health, psychological well-being, awareness sessions, assessments, and interactive learning programs.
Participants will also take part in orientation, training sessions, reporting, and field implementation throughout the internship.
