Punjab Launches Health Connect Programme to Strengthen Public Healthcare
The Punjab government has launched the Punjab Health Connect Programme, a new initiative aimed at improving healthcare services in public hospitals across the province.
According to the provincial government, the programme is designed to enhance access to specialized medical care while supporting the professional development of healthcare workers through international collaboration.
Overseas and International Specialists to Participate
Under the initiative, experienced overseas Pakistani and international specialist doctors and surgeons will provide medical services at selected government hospitals in Punjab.
The programme aims to make specialized healthcare services more accessible to patients receiving treatment in the public sector.
Training for Local Healthcare Professionals
In addition to treating patients, participating medical experts will work with local doctors and healthcare staff by sharing advanced clinical knowledge and modern treatment practices.
