Shania Twain Explains Why She Missed Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Country music star Shania Twain has shared the reason she was unable to attend the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, despite receiving an invitation to the ceremony.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Twain said she was honored to be invited but had a prior professional commitment that coincided with the wedding.

According to the singer, she was performing in London as a special guest during Harry Styles’ sold-out concerts at Wembley Stadium, which took place on the same dates as the wedding celebration.

Because of the scheduling conflict, Twain said she was unable to attend the event. She added that she looks forward to congratulating Taylor Swift personally when they meet in the future.

Twain also spoke positively about Swift, praising her songwriting and saying she has long admired her musical talent and career.

During the interview, the country music icon reflected on her friendship with Harry Styles. She recalled meeting him backstage before he achieved global success and said they remained in contact over the years.

According to Twain, one of her early memories of Styles was when he asked her to record a birthday greeting for his mother, who had introduced him to Twain’s music.

Although she was unable to attend the wedding due to her performance schedule, Twain expressed appreciation for the invitation and shared her best wishes for the couple.
