Elaraby and Chuah Win NASH Cup 2026 Squash Titles in Ontario

Egypt’s Rowan Elaraby and Malaysia’s Joachim Chuah won the women’s and men’s titles at the NASH Cup 2026 in London, Ontario, following victories in their respective finals.
The tournament concluded on September 20 with two competitive championship matches.
Rowan Elaraby Wins Women’s Title
Former world No. 7 Rowan Elaraby secured her first title since 2022 after defeating Malaysia’s Yasshmita Jadishkumar 3-1 in the women’s final.
Jadishkumar made an impressive start and quickly moved 5-0 ahead in the opening game. Elaraby responded by winning nine of the next 10 points to take a 9-6 lead, but Jadishkumar recovered to win the game 11-9.
Elaraby then raised her level in the second game. After trailing 7-5, the Egyptian fought back to win 11-9 and level the match.
The former top-10 player took control from that point, winning the third game 11-3 before completing the match with an 11-4 victory in the fourth.
Elaraby’s final score was 3-1, with the match lasting 39 minutes.
She had reached the final after defeating Canada’s Zeina Zein in the semifinals, while Jadishkumar beat Canadian No. 1 Hollie Naughton to book her place in the championship match.
Joachim Chuah Claims Men’s Championship
Malaysia’s Joachim Chuah captured the men’s NASH Cup title by defeating Canada’s David Baillargeon 3-1.
Chuah entered the final after a strong week at the tournament and continued his form against the home favorite.
The Malaysian won the opening two games 11-6 and 11-3 to take a commanding lead.
Baillargeon responded in the third game, winning 11-7 and giving the Canadian crowd hope of a comeback.
However, Chuah quickly regained control in the fourth game. He won it 11-1 to secure the championship and claim his sixth PSA title.
The men’s final lasted 41 minutes.
Baillargeon had been aiming to become the first home champion since he himself won the NASH Cup in 2023.
