Germany and Italy Win Gold at Corigliano Rossano Futures

Germany’s Rika Dieckmann and Sarah Schulz and Italy’s Enrico Rossi and Daniele Lupo claimed the women’s and men’s titles respectively at the 2026 Corigliano Rossano Futures on the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour.
The women’s silver medal went to Poland’s Aleksandra Gromadowska and Agnieszka Adamek, while Brazil’s Giulia Gavio and Carolina Sallaberry Cavalcanti secured bronze.
In the men’s competition, Ukraine’s Dmytro Kozii and Sviatoslav Nahornyi finished as runners-up, with Germany’s Jonas Reinhardt and Milan Sievers taking third place.
Dieckmann and Schulz Complete Unbeaten Run
The fifth-seeded German pair went through the women’s tournament without a defeat, although their final four matches all went to three sets.
In the semifinal, Dieckmann and Schulz produced a closely fought 2-1 (21-16, 20-22, 16-14) victory over top seeds Gavio and Sallaberry Cavalcanti of Brazil.
They then defeated Poland’s sixth-seeded Gromadowska and Adamek 2-1 (21-19, 14-21, 15-12) in the final to secure the gold medal.
The tournament marked the Beach Pro Tour debut as a team for Dieckmann and Schulz. It was Schulz’s first Beach Pro Tour title and the second for 17-year-old Dieckmann.
Poland Secure First Beach Pro Tour Podium
Gromadowska and Adamek also remained unbeaten until the final. They reached the championship match after defeating Italy’s Cindy Lee Fezzi and Jessica Belliero Piccinin 2-1 (21-18, 22-24, 15-11) in the semifinal.
The result gave the Polish duo their first Beach Pro Tour podium.
Brazil’s Gavio and Sallaberry Cavalcanti, who entered the tournament as the top seeds, also earned their first Beach Pro Tour medals.
After losing to the eventual champions in the semifinal, the Brazilian pair bounced back in the bronze-medal match with a 2-0 (21-16, 21-11) victory over Fezzi and Belliero Piccinin.
The Corigliano Rossano Futures provided another competitive stop on the 2026 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, with teams from several countries reaching the podium across the men’s and women’s events.
