Petrol and Diesel Prices Revised Again in Pakistan
The prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) have been revised once again under the government’s daily fuel pricing mechanism.
According to the latest update, the price of motor spirit (petrol) has increased by Rs. 1.63 per litre, taking the new price to Rs. 335.81 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has gone up by Rs. 1.55 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 388.38 per litre.
Previous Revision
In the previous revision announced on Monday, petrol prices were reduced by Rs. 1 per litre to Rs. 334.18 per litre, while diesel prices increased by Rs. 3.37 per litre to Rs. 386.83 per litre.
International Oil Market
International crude oil prices have eased after reaching recent highs. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude, which briefly touched around $100 per barrel over the weekend, is now trading below $80 per barrel.

Overall Increase Since Daily Pricing Began
Since the introduction of the daily fuel pricing system, petrol prices have increased by Rs. 25.09 per litre, while diesel prices have risen by Rs. 65.05 per litre.
