Gold Prices Decline Further in Pakistan, Drop Below Rs. 4.27 Lakh per Tola
Gold prices continued their downward trend in Pakistan on Wednesday, marking the second consecutive day of decline as international gold rates also moved lower.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold decreased by Rs. 1,000 per tola, bringing the latest rate to Rs. 426,436 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs. 857, settling at Rs. 365,600.
International Gold Market Also Sees Decline
In the global market, gold prices fell by $10 per ounce, reaching $4,040 per ounce.
The decline in international prices also influenced the local market, contributing to the reduction in gold rates across Pakistan.
Previous Day’s Gold Price
A day earlier, gold prices had already fallen by Rs. 4,300 per tola, closing at Rs. 427,436 per tola.
Silver Prices Move Higher
While gold prices declined, silver rates recorded an increase on Wednesday.
The price of silver rose by Rs. 68 per tola, reaching Rs. 6,291 per tola.
Market analysts said precious metal prices continue to be influenced by global trends, currency movements, and changes in international demand.
