NBA Canada Games 2026: Toronto Raptors to Face Miami Heat and LA Clippers in Preseason

Sports Correspondent: Imran Sohail

The NBA has announced its 2026 Canada Games schedule, with the Toronto Raptors set to play two preseason games in Canada this October.

The Raptors will first face the Miami Heat at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City on October 3, before taking on the LA Clippers at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on October 10.

The matchup in Quebec City will mark the first NBA game ever played in the city, making it the seventh Canadian city to host an NBA contest. The Vancouver game will be the city’s eighth NBA appearance and part of the league’s long-running Canada Games series.

One of the biggest attractions of the preseason will be Giannis Antetokounmpo, who joined the Miami Heat earlier this year. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) is expected to feature alongside Bam Adebayo and Canadian forward Andrew Wiggins.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Wiggins said he is excited to help bring NBA basketball to Canadian fans and be part of the sport’s continued growth in the country.

The Toronto Raptors are expected to feature Canadian star RJ Barrett, who has been a key member of the national team in recent international competitions.

The NBA said tickets for both preseason games will go on sale on August 20, giving basketball fans in Quebec City and Vancouver an opportunity to watch some of the league’s top players in action before the start of the regular season.
