Stephen Alker Wins Ally Challenge for Second Straight PGA Tour Champions Title

New Zealand’s Stephen Alker has won the Ally Challenge for the second consecutive week, securing his third PGA Tour Champions title of the 2026 season.

The 55-year-old golfer closed the final round with a 4-under 68 at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan. He finished the tournament at 15-under 201, winning by three strokes.

The victory comes just one week after Alker claimed the Rogers Charity Classic in Calgary, Alberta. He defeated Y.E. Yang in a playoff after making a birdie putt on the opening extra hole.

Alker had previously won the Cologuard Classic in Tucson, Arizona, in March, beating Padraig Harrington in another playoff.

With his latest victory, Alker has now collected 13 career titles on the PGA Tour Champions, the professional circuit for golfers aged 50 and over.

Goosen Finishes Runner-Up

South African golfer Retief Goosen finished second after posting a final-round 64. He ended the tournament three strokes behind Alker.

Two-time defending champion Stewart Cink finished at 11 under after a final-round 67. He shared third place with Greg Chalmers, who carded a 69, and second-round leader Michael Block, who finished with a 74.

Block, 50, was making his fifth appearance on the PGA Tour Champions.

Stenson Makes Tour Debut

Former major champion Henrik Stenson made his PGA Tour Champions debut at the Ally Challenge.

The Swedish golfer closed with a 3-under 69 to finish the tournament at 5 under par, placing him in a tie for 27th.

Alker’s back-to-back victories have strengthened his position among the leading players on the PGA Tour Champions this season.
