Islamabad Police Issue Traffic Plan for Sports Complex Concert

Islamabad Police have issued a special traffic advisory for visitors attending a musical concert at the Sports Complex on September 12, 2026, asking attendees to plan their journeys in advance to avoid traffic congestion around the venue.

The advisory outlines separate entry and parking arrangements for general visitors and VIP ticket holders.

Entry and Parking for General Visitors

People attending the concert with regular tickets have been advised to approach the Sports Complex through Garden Avenue.

Visitors can also use the Jungle Track via Garden Avenue and enter the venue through Gate No. 3 or Gate No. 4.

After entering the complex, concert-goers have been instructed to park their vehicles on the left side as directed by traffic management personnel.

Separate Route for VIP Ticket Holders

VIP ticket holders will use the main entrance from Srinagar Highway Gate.

Police have advised VIP guests to follow the traffic signs and directions provided by personnel deployed around the venue. Their designated parking area will be in front of the mosque.
