The airline operated its first flight on the Islamabad-Multan route on September 18. The inaugural flight landed at Multan International Airport with 37 passengers and six crew members on board.

Inaugural Flight Welcomed at Multan Airport

The arrival of South Air’s first flight was marked by a cake-cutting ceremony at the Domestic Arrival Lounge of Multan International Airport.

MNA Ali Qasim Gillani attended the event along with representatives of South Air and airport officials.

The launch is expected to provide passengers with another travel option between the federal capital and Multan, particularly for those seeking an alternative to road and rail travel.

South Air Flight Schedule

South Air will initially operate 16 flight movements per week between Islamabad and Multan.

According to the announced schedule, flights will operate on:

  • Monday

The new service gives passengers multiple opportunities throughout the week to travel between Islamabad and Multan.

South Air’s latest route expansion adds another connection to Pakistan’s domestic aviation network and provides additional choice for passengers travelling between the two major cities.
