Puerto Rico Opens Fifth U-12 and U-15 Baseball National Championships

The Baseball Federation of Puerto Rico (FBPR) has announced the start of the fifth edition of its U-12 and U-15 National Championships, featuring 47 participating teams across the two age categories.
The tournament includes 14 teams in the U-12 competition and 33 teams in the U-15 category, providing young baseball players with an opportunity to compete at the national level.
U-12 Championship
The U-12 competition has been divided into Northern and Southern divisions.
The Northern Division features Vega Baja Legendarios, Vega Baja Correcaminos, Vega Baja MCSB, Vega Alta, Camuy, Hatillo and Mayagüez.
The Southern Division includes Guayama, Ponce Glenview, Coamo, Ponce Cachorros, Ponce Bombers, WOBA Yabucoa and Fajardo.
WOBA Yabucoa enters the tournament as the defending U-12 champion after winning the title in 2025.
U-15 Championship
The U-15 competition will feature 33 teams divided into eight divisions.
Division A: Barceloneta, Vega Alta Maceteros, Camuy Braves and Hatillo Forteza.
Division B: Vega Baja, Las Piedras, Vega Alta Búfalos and Caguas Tornados.
Division C: Gurabo, Carolina Raiders, Trujillo Alto and Carolina Rebels.
Division D: Yabucoa, Fajardo, Naguabo and Carolina PRS.
Division E: Cayey Toritos Jr., Barranquitas, Caguas Red Sox and Guaynabo.
Division F: Salinas Peces, Juana Díaz Poetas, Ponce Cachorros and Juana Díaz Piratas.
Division G: Cidra TLM, San Lorenzo, Guayama Brujos and Cayey Toros.
Division H: Sabana Grande, Aguada, Mayagüez and Guánica.
Cidra Potros are the defending U-15 champions after winning the 2025 championship.
The national championships are part of Puerto Rico’s youth baseball development program, giving players in the U-12 and U-15 age groups a platform to gain competitive experience and represent their local baseball organizations.
