Two Palestinians Killed in Gaza Amid Reported Ceasefire Violations

Two Palestinians were killed and several others, including children, were injured in separate incidents in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to Palestinian medical sources cited by Anadolu Agency.

The incidents were reported despite a ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

Airstrike Hits Apartment in Gaza City

A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital said one Palestinian was killed after an airstrike struck an apartment in the Al-Nasr neighbourhood, west of Gaza City.

An Anadolu correspondent reported that the attack hit an apartment inside the Al-Batoul building. Several people, including children, were reportedly injured and taken to hospital.

Witnesses said a drone had been hovering over the area before the strike. The attack also caused a fire inside the apartment, which was reportedly destroyed.

Palestinian Killed Near Deir al-Balah

In another incident in central Gaza, a Palestinian man was reportedly killed by Israeli army gunfire on Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital identified the victim as Ahmed Abu Mur and said his body was brought to the facility after he was shot in the area.

Local sources and witnesses also reported that Israeli forces carried out demolition operations targeting buildings in areas under their control east of Deir al-Balah.

Gaza Health Ministry Reports Ceasefire Casualties

According to figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry, reported Israeli violations of the ceasefire have resulted in 1,421 Palestinian deaths and 4,983 injuries.

The ministry’s figures also state that since October 8, 2023, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 175,000 injured in the Gaza conflict.

The same source estimates that around 90% of Gaza’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.

The casualty figures are reported by Gaza health authorities and have been cited by international media amid the continuing conflict.
