TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G Launched in Pakistan with 8,000mAh Battery for Rs99,999
TECNO has launched the POVA Curve 2 5G smartphone in Pakistan, introducing a device that combines a slim design with a large 8,000mAh battery. The phone is available in an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration at a retail price of Rs99,999.
The company describes the device as a blend of performance and style, targeting users who need long battery life, gaming capabilities and reliable connectivity.
The POVA Curve 2 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 5G processor. TECNO says the device is designed for gaming, video streaming and multitasking, with its Ice Cooling 3.0 system intended to help manage heat during extended use. The company also highlights support for 20 5G bands and claims improvements in indoor mobile signal and Wi-Fi performance.
One of the phone’s main features is its 8,000mAh battery packed into a body measuring 7.42mm thick and weighing 195 grams. TECNO says this makes it the slimmest smartphone in its category with a battery of this capacity.
The device supports 45W wired fast charging, with the company claiming a full charge can take around 82 minutes. It also includes 10W reverse charging and bypass charging features. TECNO says the battery is designed to withstand up to 2,000 charging cycles.
The smartphone features a curved 144Hz AMOLED display with a claimed peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. Its high refresh rate is intended to deliver smoother scrolling and gameplay, while the company says the display’s touch response is optimised for mobile games, including PUBG and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
For durability, the POVA Curve 2 5G carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and has SGS-certified drop resistance from a height of 1.5 metres, according to TECNO. The phone will be available in Melting Silver, Mystic Purple and Storm Titanium.
In the camera department, the device has a 50-megapixel main rear camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 13-megapixel front camera. Its software features include AI Eraser 2.0 for removing unwanted elements from images, AI Flare Remover for addressing glare and haze, and Image-to-Live for turning still photographs into animated visuals.
Other software tools include AI Noise Cancellation for calls and the Ella voice assistant, which offers features such as WhatsApp call translation support, message summaries and question-and-answer assistance.
The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G went on sale across Pakistan on October 15, 2026. Customers purchasing through PalmPay’s instalment service can receive a Rs5,000 discount, according to the launch announcement. Online buyers can also access a Rs5,000 discount through TECNO Fans vouchers on Daraz, subject to the applicable terms and availability.
