Actor Momina Iqbal Files Complaint Against Punjab MPA Over Harassment Allegations
Actor and model Momina Iqbal has filed a complaint at a Lahore police station seeking action against a Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), alleging harassment, threats, and blackmail.

According to the application submitted at Chung Police Station in Lahore, the actor claims she was subjected to repeated calls, messages, and alleged threats after rejecting a marriage proposal.
She also stated that similar messages were allegedly sent to her family members, causing mental distress and concern for their safety.
Allegations under investigation
The complaint includes allegations of harassment, cyber harassment, and intimidation. The actor has requested the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) and a formal investigation into the matter.
Police officials have not yet issued a detailed public statement regarding the case.
Government response
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has stated that the matter will be investigated strictly on merit and that no political pressure will be tolerated in the case.
She also warned against attempts to influence or obstruct legal proceedings.
