Boston Celtics Waive Two-Way Forward Miles Norris

August 11, 2025 —

The Boston Celtics have officially waived two-way forward Miles Norris. Standing 6-foot-10, Norris appeared in three games for the Celtics last season, averaging 2.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 0.7 steals per game.

Norris began his professional career after going undrafted in 2023. He initially signed a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks and played for their G-League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. However, he was waived before making his NBA debut with the Hawks.

The Celtics’ decision to waive Norris opens up roster flexibility as the team looks to strengthen its lineup ahead of the new season. Fans and analysts will be watching to see where Norris lands next as he continues to pursue his NBA career.
