Cambridge Announces New Date for Postponed A-Level Mathematics Exam

Cambridge International Education (CIE) has announced a revised schedule for the postponed A Level Mathematics Paper 32, confirming that the exam will now be held on June 8 as part of the June 2026 examination series.

In an official statement, Cambridge also addressed disruptions caused by leaked exam material, confirming that special measures have been taken for affected papers.

The examination body said assessed marks will be awarded to candidates of A Level Mathematics Paper 52 in administrative zones 3 and 4, along with all students of AS Level Computer Science Paper 12 in Pakistan, after both papers were reportedly leaked before the scheduled exams.

Cambridge stated that these papers, conducted on May 12, were shared online in violation of strict examination rules.

According to the decision, students’ final assessed marks will be calculated based on their performance in other completed components of the same syllabus, while the compromised papers will not be counted.

The body emphasized that this approach is aimed at ensuring fairness and preventing any advantage gained through cheating.

Cambridge also clarified that the circulation of leaked content in Pakistan does not necessarily indicate the origin of the breach, adding that investigations are ongoing.

Officials further noted that there have been continued attempts to obtain and leak exam papers during the June 2026 session, and legal action is being taken in coordination with law enforcement agencies and social media platforms.

The examination authority warned that individuals involved in sharing confidential exam materials may face permanent disqualification from Cambridge qualifications. The AS and A Level results are scheduled to be released on August 11, 2026.
