Edwards, Randle Lead Timberwolves to Comeback Win Over Nuggets
Anthony Edwards scored 30 points while Julius Randle added 24, helping the Minnesota Timberwolves secure a 119-114 comeback victory over the Denver Nuggets and level their playoff series at 1-1.
Minnesota showed strong determination after falling behind early, overcoming a 19-point deficit from the first quarter. The team maintained composure in the closing moments to seal the win.
Late in the game, a missed free throw by Christian Braun left Denver trailing by one point. Following a timeout, Randle converted two crucial free throws, and Donte DiVincenzo added a fast-break dunk to secure the result.
For Denver, Jamal Murray led the scoring with 30 points, while Nikola Jokic contributed 24 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists. However, both players struggled in the final quarter, combining for limited scoring during a key stretch.
The result ends Denver’s 13-game winning streak and shifts momentum in the series as it moves to Minneapolis for Game 3.
With the series now tied, both teams will look to gain the upper hand in what is shaping up to be a competitive playoff matchup in the National Basketball Association.
