Gold Price in Pakistan Down Marginally But Not Far from All-Time High

Gold Prices Slip in Pakistan, Silver Rates Also Down

Karachi: The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan fell by Rs. 200 per tola on Wednesday, selling at Rs. 358,100, compared to Rs. 358,300 a day earlier, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 171, settling at Rs. 307,013, down from Rs. 307,184. For 22-karat gold, the rate slipped by Rs. 157 to Rs. 281,438 from Rs. 281,595.

Silver prices also moved lower, with per tola falling by Rs. 59 to Rs. 4,072, and 10 grams dropping by Rs. 51 to Rs. 3,491.

In the international market, gold eased by $2 to $3,354 per ounce from $3,356, while silver gained $0.59 to trade at $38.39 per ounce.
