Benjamin Sesko Officially Joins Manchester United in £74 Million Transfer

Manchester United has officially announced the signing of striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig for £74 million (€85 million). The 22-year-old forward expressed excitement about joining the historic club and being part of the team’s fresh project.

Sesko revealed that despite interest from other clubs, including Newcastle United, he chose Manchester United because of its rich history and strong squad improvements this summer.

“I chose Manchester United because it’s a historic club. The team is strengthening well, and that motivates me to be part of it. I believe in this great project and can’t wait to get started,” Sesko said.

He added, “I already feel like we are going to be a great family, and it’s just a matter of time before we succeed again. As a team, we will grow and improve little by little.”

Sesko also spoke about his admiration for former Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimović. “Since I was young, I’ve watched him on YouTube. He’s been an incredible player and my idol. It would be a dream to meet him one day.”

The Slovenian striker could make his Manchester United debut next Sunday when the Red Devils face Arsenal at Old Trafford on the opening day of the Premier League season.
