Katie Price Shares Concern Over Mother Amy’s Ongoing Hospital Stay
British television personality Katie Price has provided an update on her mother, Amy Price, revealing that she remains in hospital and is currently in a serious condition.
Amy, 74, was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) in 2017. The long-term lung condition causes scarring of the lungs and can make breathing increasingly difficult.
Katie Price Says Her Mother Remains Very Unwell
Speaking on The Katie Price Show podcast, Katie said her mother was still receiving treatment in hospital and described her current condition as very difficult.
Katie also shared that Amy continues to take an interest in her family despite her health struggles. She said her mother enjoys watching the family’s activities and was particularly pleased to see them attend the National Television Awards.
The latest update follows previous comments from Katie about her concerns for her mother’s health.
Family Feared Losing Amy During Documentary
Katie previously revealed that her family had experienced several worrying moments while filming the Sky documentary Nothing To Hide.
She said there were occasions when relatives feared they could lose Amy during the production. Katie also recalled being uncertain whether her mother would be able to attend the BAFTA Awards ceremony in February.
Despite those concerns, Amy continued to battle her health problems and remained involved in important family occasions.
Katie Responds to Claims About Daughter Princess
Meanwhile, Katie Price has also addressed reports surrounding her appearance with her daughter Princess Andre at the National Television Awards.
Claims circulated that Katie had attempted to draw attention away from her daughter during the event. However, she strongly rejected the allegations through an Instagram Story.
Katie later shared footage showing Princess approaching her on the red carpet.
The mother and daughter also attracted attention for their contrasting outfits at the event. Katie opted for a dramatic makeover, while Princess appeared in a light-blue ruffled gown.
For now, Katie continues to keep her followers updated about her mother’s condition while Amy remains under medical care.
