Lahore Police Increase Service Card Fees Amid Rising Costs

Lahore Police have increased the charges for departmental service cards, citing rising inflation and operational costs.

According to police sources, the fee for issuing a new service card has been raised from Rs. 250 to Rs. 400. Similarly, the renewal fee for existing service cards has also increased by Rs. 150.

New Fee Structure Implemented

Officials said the revised charges are part of an administrative adjustment due to increasing expenses. The updated rates now apply to both new applications and renewal requests.

They also noted that service cards for some personnel who applied a month ago have not yet been printed. In some cases, cards are being issued only after payment of the revised fees.

Instructions for Police Personnel

SP Headquarters Munazza Karamat has directed officers and staff to apply for new service cards immediately if their existing cards are damaged, expired, or lost.

She further stated that personnel from district police and traffic police can collect their issued cards from Police Lines after processing.

The revised fee structure is expected to remain in effect going forward unless further changes are announced by the department.
